His Excellency noted that these community initiatives are a living model of how the coexistence of people from all walks of life provide an opportunity for people with special needs to integrate and interact with others in their everyday life. He also expressed his appreciation towards the strategic partnership between between Al Muhaidib Social Foundation and Al Moosa Specialized Hospital, and its benefits to society.
CEO of Al Muhaidib Group, Mr. Essam A.K. Al Muhaidib, expressed his thoughts saying: "We are pleased to expand one of our most important strategic initiatives “We Play Together”, with distinguished partners such as Al Moosa. It will enable both of us to achieve our goals of contributing to the community as a whole. We would also like to thank the Emara and the Al Ahsa Municipality for their cooperation and support in continuing this humanitarian goal.”
Sharing the same sentiment, CEO of Al Moosa Specialized Hospital, Mr. Malik A. Al Moosa stated: “At Al Moosa Specialized Hospital, we believe that community service is an integral part of our goals and values. Therefore, we have initiated this cooperation with Al Muhaidib Social Foundation to serve the Al Ahsa’s people who are near and dear to our hearts and deserve all the support and appreciation we can offer. We will surely work towards making Al Moosa Park a pleasant part of their lives."
Al Moosa Park is located in the Al Faisal Neighborhood of Mubarraz, on an area of 2200 sqm. It includes more than 12 games specializing in the integration of children with disabilities with their peers, enabling them to closely get acquainted and understand the obstacles children with special needs face every day.
It is worth mentioning that the park was opened as an extension of the “We Play Together” initiative, the first of which was the Al Muhaidib Park in Al Hada Neighborhood in Khobar, and God willing, the third initiative “Al Khereji Square” is expected to open in Dammam early next year.
