Ziyad Al SalehChief Operating Officer

Ziyad Al Saleh is the Chief Operating Officer at Al Muhaidib Group. He previously held the role of Vice President of Food & Consumer Investments and Head of Mergers & Acquisitions at the Group. Ziyad sits on a multitude of boards that represent a diversity of business sectors and countries including Riyadh Cables, Gulf Union Insurance, Pioneers Holding in Egypt, Amwal International, Mashaer Holding in Kuwait, UBS Saudi Arabia, Alromansiah Food Co. and Atheel Holding. He is also a member of the Executive Committee of Zohoor Alreef and was a founder of the Eastern Province Young Businessmen Council. Mr. Al Saleh holds an MBA degree with honours from International University, Geneva and received a double Major in Finance and Computer Information Systems with honours from the University of Miami, USA.

Richard Kassaby Group Chief Financial Officer

Richard Kassaby is the Group Chief Financial Officer of Al Muhaidib Group.  Prior to joining Al Muhaidib, Richard worked in the UAE for 6 years and was the CFO of the Al Futtaim Automotive Group responsible for the financial strategy and governance of operating businesses spanning across 10 countries.  Richard brings over two decades of experience in the financial services industry specializing in capital markets, treasury, risk management and regulatory structuring. Richard holds a Masters of Taxation Law from the University of Melbourne and a Bachelor of Information Systems from Monash University.

Isam M. Al MuhaidibVice President - Industrial & Infrastructure Investments

Isam M. Al Muhaidib is the Vice President of Industrial and Infrastructure Investments for Al Muhaidib Group and is on the board of Al Muhaidib Building Materials. He is also on the board of Azizia Panda United and is Chairman of the Company’s Audit Committee.  During his career he served as the General Manager of Dar Al Mareta and the CEO of Giant Stores.  In addition, he was the Director of Dar Al Zahrawi Medical and a member of the Executive Committee of Zohoor Alreef. Mr. Al Muhaidib holds a MSc in Industrial Engineering from the University of Texas.

Nasser Al MokeemVice President - Corporate Affairs

Nasser Al Mokeem is Al Muhaidib Group’s Vice President of Corporate Affairs. Prior to this he served as the Group’s Marketing Manager and General Manager of UGC. He is a specialist in international money markets and real estate investment. He has served the Group since 1994, joining the Group’s Sales and Marketing team as a fresh graduate from King Saud University, where he earned a degree in Business Administration, with a major in Marketing.

Sayer Al ShammariVice President - Real Estate Investments

Sayer Al Shammari is the Vice President of Real Estate Investments in Al Muhaidib Group. Since joining the team in 2009, he has served the Group’ s Public Equity, Private Equity, Hedge Funds and Real Estate business. Mr. Al Shammari represents the Group on a number of boards, investment committees and audit committees. Prior to his appointment with the Group, Mr. Al Shammari managed the investment portfolio of Saad Group and worked with Schlumberger Middle East as a Field Engineer. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering and an MBA degree from King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals, and is a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and is Vice Chairman of the CFA Society, Saudi Arabia.

Nathan DuntonVice President of Treasury

Nathan has over 20 years of corporate finance experience and has spent the last two years in Qatar as the VP of Treasury, Risk & Financing of the Qatar Airways Group. Here his responsibilities included directing the treasury and insurance activities of the Group including implementing treasury management systems, developing cash and risk management strategies and financing for property and aviation projects. In addition to treasury, Nathan's expertise includes insurance, tax, fuel procurement, pensions, and international finance, across a diverse range of sectors including Property, Infrastructure and Aviation.

Kamel El KhatibVice President - Food & Consumer Investments

Kamel El Khatib is the Vice President of Food and Consumer Investments at Al Muhaidib Group with over 20 years’ experience in Corporate Banking and Management. Before joining the Group, he worked with StarBrands Holding as Group CFO, TD Securities Canada, and BankMed Lebanon. He holds an MBA from McGill University Canada with a major in Finance and Strategy, and a Master’s of Money and Banking from the American University of Beirut. He is also a Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) and a certified Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst (CAIA)..

Ahmad Al RifaiHead - Information Technology

Ahmad Al Rifai is Al Muhaidib Group’s Head of IT. His vast career spans 20 years covering a number of areas of expertise including IT Strategies, Service Management, ERP Implementation, Software Development, System Analysis, Business Process Management and Project Management with high value of PMO establishment. Prior to joining Al Muhaidib Group, he worked with Al Faisaliah Group as a Business Solutions Manager, where he held a key role in the development and execution of IT strategies and built tailored roadmaps aligned with best practices.

Salah KandilGroup Finance Director

Salah Kandil is the Group Financial Director at Al Muhaidib Group. He is a highly accredited and experienced financial professional. In his role, he heads a team responsible for the accurate and timely preparation of the Group’s financial statements. Prior to joining the Group in 1994 as Internal Audit Manager, he worked with the KPMG Audit Department for eight years. Mr. Kandil  holds a bachelor’s in Commerce from Cairo University, is a Fellow of the Chartered Public Accountants Association of Egypt (CPA), a Fellow of the Egyptian Tax Association, and is IFRS Certified from the Institute of Chartered Accountants of England and Wales (ICAEW) in addition to holding a Diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards.

Abdullah E. Al MuhaidibInvestment Director - Food & Consumer Investments

Abdullah E. Al Muhaidib is Investment Director for Food & Consumer Investments with over 11 years of experience in portfolio management and management consulting.  Prior to joining AMG, he worked at Booz & Company (now Strategy&) in Dubai, where he started as an intern, was hired as an Analyst, and was promoted to Senior Analyst. He Holds an MBA from Columbia Business School in New York.

Junaid JafarInvestment Director - Financial Investments

Junaid Jafar is the Investment Director responsible for Financial Investments at Al Muhaidib Group. With around 30 years of experience in investment banking and investment management, Junaid has worked for J.P. Morgan and Henderson Global Investors (now Janus Henderson) in London and Emerging Markets Partnership and Tadhamon Capital in Bahrain.  His experience includes both direct and fund investments across private equity, private credit and real estate in a diverse set of sectors in both emerging and developed markets. Junaid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Political Science from Middlebury College in Vermont, USA and is a Chartered Accountant (ICAEW).

Feras Al BaiyatInvestment Director - Industrial & Infrastructure Investments

Feras Al Baiyat is the Investment Director of Group Building Materials and Contracting Investments. Previous to joining Al Muhaidib Group, he served in the Management Consultancy Department of Booz & Company and prior to that, Saudi Aramco. He holds a BSc in Electrical Engineering from Colorado School of Mines and a Master’s in Business Administration from the London Business School.

Daniel RamosInvestment Director- Infrastructure Investments

Daniel Ramos Morales is the Investment Director for Infrastructure Investments. Prior to joining Al Muhaidib Group, he was partner of Deloitte Financial Advisory for 7 years and worked in numerous reputed consulting firms for more than 20 years, He studied and worked in Madrid, Barcelona, Chicago, Lima, Bogota, and Riyadh. He developed businesses for clients in more than 20 countries.
He holds MSc in Aeronautical Engineering from Polytechnic University in Madrid, and a master’s in business administration from IESE Business School in Barcelona (MBA Exchange Program in Kellogg Graduate School of Management, NWU, Chicago).

Rose AlFrayanCorporate Communication Head

Rose Alfrayan works as the Corporate Communication Head for Al Muhaidib Group. Rose has 11 years of experience in the field of strategic marketing and corporate communication, enhancing external communication, managing brands, and activating internal communication programs that foster employee engagement through her previous experience at King Salman Energy Park, Dammam Airports Company, and Retal Urban Development Company.

Rose holds a master’s degree in advertising and marketing communications from Webster University in the USA and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from King Faisal University in Dammam.

Javier Sanchez FerrerDirector - Talent & Development

Javier Ferrer, Director of Talent and Development for Al Muhaidib Group, brings vast experience enhancing talent development, creating tailored leadership programs, and strategically boosting performance management. Prior to joining the Group, he worked with Microsoft Seattle, Dubai, Spain and the UK. Mr. Ferrer holds a Master’s degree in Human Resources from IE Business School in Madrid, one of the world’s highest-rated graduate schools and part of the IE University league.

Biju JoseMergers & Acquisitions Director

Biju Jose, Senior Manager of Mergers and Acquisitions at Al Muhaidib Group, offers more than 16 years of Corporate Finance experience. He has worked on 20 critical M&A transactions during this time including the headline-making Giant Stores divestment and swap for Savola equity, in addition to acquisitions in the paper business and hospitality sectors, mergers in contracting and building materials supply, and other key divestments. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce and a master’s in economics from Calicut University, India.
